Tom Murad is seeking election for Halton Catholic District School Board Trustee for Oakville Wards 1, 2, 3 to help ensure families, students, ratepayers, caretakers, and educators are heard in the decisions that shape their schools.
Maintaining high quality education is important for student achievement. Tom will support initiatives that improve student outcomes while Oakville continues to grow.

Tom has demonstrated life long volunteer and community service, is committed to listening carefully, working constructively, and championing practical progress for students, families, and educators.
Equitable funding should be available for all schools in Halton. The Catholic schools should be treated the same as the public schools for all students to reach their full potential. As such, Tom will be a voice for Oakville schools that need funding for facilities and infrastructure to improve education delivery in a safe, inclusive and well maintained environment.
